  I put my fork into granulated sugar then press. Gives the cookies a nice little texture of sugar from baking  😊

  When I was little, I asked my mom why she criss-crossed the peanut butter cookies. She didn&apos;t know the answer so she said &quot;because if I don&apos;t, &nbsp;the cookie police will come!&quot; I have now passed down the cookie police story to my kids and we all get some giggles out of it!<br>Love your channel and all of your recipes - thank you!!

  I love the fact that you use a scale and measure most ingredients by weight - and offer your recipes with those measurements. &nbsp;This makes for a consistent end result each time.<br><br>A “cup of flour” has many different weights if one looks this up online…can make a big difference!

  1 1/2 cups &nbsp;or 180g flour <br>3/4 teaspoon baking powder <br>1 teaspoon salt (I&apos;d recommend adding to taste depending on the type of peanut butter you&apos;re using) &nbsp; <br>1 stick or 113g unsalted butter (softened) <br>1/2 cup or 100g white sugar <br>1/2 cup or 110g brown sugar <br>1 cup or 250g peanut butter <br>1 teaspoon vanilla <br>1 egg<br><br>bake at 350℉ (175℃) for about 10 minutes

  Alternative version of peanut butter cookies is my Dragons’ Nests cookies 🪺 &nbsp;<br>Start with STANDARD peanut butter cookies prepared normally (I recommend mixing creamy and chunky peanut butter or chopped peanuts 🥜) but when you get to the point where you’d normally press them with a fork, top them with the M&amp;M’s of your choice to be the dragons’s eggs 🪺
