Welcome to the Lion King— where even the speed run involves taking damage within 5 seconds.

Younger people don’t understand how it was with no internet and no way to find out how to do everything.

the second level was explicitly designed to be ridiculous, if you touch the wrong monkeys, you die, if you roar at the wrong monkeys you die. You run out of lives, back to level 1. I had this on gameboy, so i didn't even know there was a difference between the scare-able monkeys and non-scare-able ones (because the game was black and white)

"they didn't even program an ending scene because they knew no one would ever beat the game" hahahaha

Idk if he mentions it but, the reason the game is hard is because no matter how far you get, if you run out of lives YOU GET SENT BACK TO LEVEL ONE.

I beat it.  Hardest part wasn't the difficulty.  Hardest part was the fact that you had to beat it in one sitting.
