My uncles always dressed after work, taught me to never go out in public unless dressed to the nines, even just to the store. I still dress well wear a tie evryday, shoes shined, shirt pressed. clean hands, hair combed.

I nearly screamed when I saw this video. I am 69 years old and this is a habit pattern I learned from my uncles and my father. He was from South Africa and a former SA Marine. My mum was from Haiti and she used to tell me that my father would walk on a beach with a cane, a white hat, pressed shirt and white shorts and garters. A-lot of that attitude also came from the level of pride in the black church. I followed that tradition after 32 years in the military from the US Marines (becoming a US citizen) to the US Army. Seven university degrees, 2 authored books, 2 movie screenplays later, I still follow the same principles watching my father cut hair, shine shoes and designed suits in a world of tattoos, t-shirts, muscles and sagging pants. The culture of Covid, a divided nation, the decade of decadence the country has become.

It is true that all men in the 40-60s kept clean, did&apos;t cuss, and spoke clearly without slsng. My father and uncles never wore jeans or gym shoes in my entire life. They quietly demanded respect &nbsp;without saying a word.<br>M A N H O O D!!!
