The great thing about this program that other similar vids don't have is the providing of safe alternatives, so thank you for that.

A seasoned gardener openly admitting their biggest flower mistakes is the kind of raw and honest content that the entire gardening community has been desperately needing and I am so glad you had the courage to make this video! I am just curious, out of the 13 flowers you regret planting which ones were the absolute hardest to get rid of once they had already established themselves in your garden? The trust you have built with this community by always being so transparent and real instead of just showing a perfect picture perfect garden is something truly priceless — this channel is the most genuine and helpful gardening resource on all of YouTube and it is not even close

The personal regret angle from someone with real experience is such a rare and courageous thing to share, and this channel always brings that level of honest transparency that most creators are too protective of their reputation to ever admit. Quick question, out of these 13 which one fooled you the longest before you finally decided it had to go because that slow realization story is always the most relatable one for experienced gardeners!

I have had a honeysuckle on my trellis for many years and it is yet to show me bad behavior. On the other hand, I had a climbing hydrangea which ate our entire garage. It wasn't the fault of the plant, it was my not knowing how to manage it. It is programmed into every single plant on the planet to spread. And it is the job of every gardener to learn how to keep it in check, if necessary.

I seriously wish I had watched this video 10 or 15 years ago, but I probably wouldn't have believed it, experience shows me not to be so distrustful of some things, but again, there are people out there making videos that will intentionally give bad destructive advice. That's the cruel honest truth. Us poor suckers should have paid attention to our grandparents better. Kids, stop treating your parents and grandparents like inconvenient old relics that are trying to hold you back. Of all people in this world they are the ones who love you more than life, pray for you everyday and want nothing more from you but to see you grow and florish into the best person you can possibly be. They are not out to get you!

Thank you so much for this valuable information. A friend gave me some mint. I didn’t know where to put it so i just absent mindedly stuck it in a stone planter in my yard. It has been there for many years now. Boy am I glad I didn’t plant it in the ground!
