  Steve advises that while these games are rising in value, it is still POSSIBLE to find deals ONLY if you remain PATIENTLY and AVOID engaging in HIGH-STAKES bidding wars on auction sites.

  I love collecting physical games. However, until prices become more reasonable, I would recommend jailbreaking your console. You should be able to have full access to library of PS3 games just like the vita.

  This is another and in honesty a very cut and dry but super helpful video regarding this topic, fomo is real right now but honestly waiting won't hurt a lot of the multi systems titles or even something like heavenly sword, but something 50 cent or big HD collection stuck in PS3 games are definitely worth going on the hunt for. For me being smart, searching for the best deal, trading up or even cutting games you longer play or just want to sell for the games you absolutely want to play/have/desire the most is honestly worth it, I can't tell ya how many years it took me to get Castlevania SOTN og black label or even for PS3 Painkiller Hell and Damnation not at a 1k price like it was many years ago, patience is a virtue but also being a wheeler dealer helps as well.   I keep my receipts to put in the cases of games I buy in the wild. I have a receipt that says I bought Heavenly Sword at a used game store near me in 2017. Three dollars. I literally paid 3 bucks. They were practically giving that game away for almost 20 years. These prices are massively overinflated. There is so much supply out there. Just hold off until this dies down, you will thank yourself later. These prices will fall.

  the $100 copy of yakuza dead souls that's been chilling at my local retro game store for a while is sounding very appealing now that its shot up to $200+

  I can't believe Asura's Wrath is worth that much on the PS3.  I bought it brand new at Walmart for $5 clearance and haven't even opened it yet.  Always wanted to get around to it but you know life happens as an aging adult and just haven't.  I thought this was such a common game because I used to see that cover every time I visited the game section. The cover always used to make me think it something to do with one of the Street Fighter characters.

  Simple supply and demand economics. <br> <br>When the announcement was made by Playstation I looked at the stock CEX had for many of the rare games. <br> <br>I found that there was less than 20 copies of the rare games they had in stock at the time of the Sony announcement. <br> <br> <br>I thought to myself it would only take 20 people to buy those games and they would be out of stock. <br> <br>Now think there are 72 million people in the UK. If only 1000 of that 72 million are collectors it was clear to see that this would happen. <br> <br>I went and purchased every single game I wanted, purchased close to 110 games in July to complete my collection. <br> <br>If I purchased the same games today i would be paying over double the price. <br> <br>But that&apos;s not the worst of it, most of games even though they have now doubled in price, you simply can&apos;t even buy it now as they are out of stock even if you wanted to pay the higher price. <br> <br>Those of you waiting thinking prices are coming down on the rare games are in for a shock. <br> <br>Those super rare games will be £500 ach this time next year.

  Good thing I go Splatterhouse for $73 and afro samurai 36.00 on eBay last year and folklore for $5 at a garage sale
