You should include Alice (1988) a Czech depiction of Alice in Wonderland which features a live action Alice and stop-motion animated Victorian era antique stuffed animals and objects as characters from the story. Almost no dialogue but a visual treat.

Oh wow, never heard about the Dreamchild, thank you! I love all the kinds of weird Alice in Wonderland adaptations, mixed with 80s style it's perfect

Ah, I remember seeing The Navigator in a little cinema, and being swept away.

Again I want to say honerable mention to Time Bandits, from the Monty Python team, who managed to bag Sean Connery who took wage hit as he was a fan.

I don't really vibe with Flight of the Dragons...mainly because I HAAAATE when people and characters constantly try to have the magical world "make sense."<br><br>It was a painful drag to sit through how Marvel did it with the Thor movies, which completely destroyed his appeal for me

Shame Dan Aykroyd was replaced in Vibes, he is balls deep in parnormal stuff. Dan filled Ghostbusters with loosely based on true parnormal..... myths I guess.
