  John Lord on the Hammond Organ.  Richie Blackmore on gitfiddle.  Roger Glover on bass.  Ian Paice on drums and Ian Gillian on vocals.  That was the lineup that propelled them to the heights.

  Deep Purple were on a bus on the way to a gig, a reporter was with them and asked them how they write songs, So they wrote this song on the bus on the spot. <br><br>They played it live that night at the gig.

  Hey guys...my father passed away 3 days ago...and Deep Purple was his ultimate favourite band ever....I&apos;m still grieving over this loss, listening to many Deep Purple catalogues, and stumbled into your video...well accidentally. He was a big fan of Jon Lord, the keyboardist...one of the first albums he gave me when I was a child was Deep Purple: Nobody&apos;s Perfect (it&apos;s a live album). Man, it&apos;s great to see your reaction. I played this song beside his casket...this song means a lot to me. pardon my English anyway. &nbsp;Cheers from Indonesia!

  The song is about his car. The girl is his car. The speed in his brain refers to driving fast. No one in this lineup did drugs. They were drinkers . You should do the song Lazy by Deep Purple next . Great channel guys
