  my take on the ending is Grace is &quot;partially&quot; possessed. she&apos;s now indebted to the Lord in Black for the rest of her life to gather souls for them. their song to Grace, Steph, and Pete literally warns them that whomever were to fulfill their half of the deal would also be &quot;forever in their debt&quot; - hence why Grace is like that in the end there. she didn&apos;t give up God or her beliefs. that was just the possession coming out to play and fulfill the Lords of Black&apos;s demands.

  Describing Grace as &quot;off the deep end&quot; is crazy because I don&apos;t think she&apos;s ever touched the bottom of a pool. She&apos;s been treading water since she was born. Becoming a serial killer is pretty par for the course.

  Max is played by Will Branner who is an actual Broadway performer. I believe he was in a back to the future musical and I believe he was a writer and director to a few musicals. He&apos;s an awesome performer. And as much as I am aware he&apos;s the bad guy I still think he&apos;s strangely adorably stupid and I love him. XD
