I would like to see you record your entire tournament then go back and voice over and explain what you were seeing and changes you made during the comp

The gutter at 3:12 shows so many reasons I like Brad and Kyle's channel so much. The dynamic between them with Brad sarcastically telling Kyle 'Great job' is always great and how they're not afraid to show their mistakes on film. A lot of channels would just edit those parts out. Great video B&K, best of luck on the tour the rest of the year!

The other thing not mentioned here is that most bowlers are on a house shot, which is known for giving a lot of room for error. Part of playing a house shot well is knowing how to make the most of that. If your ball overhooks on a small miss in and underhooks on a small miss out, either the core or the cover are too strong (or both). You want to create as much miss room as you can, because let's face it... most of us miss a few boards here and there.

This is the kind of video I need a LOT of! .. I had a HORRIBLE night in league last night, partly because I wasn't feeling too well, but also because I just couldn't get anything to work. I tried a lot of different things. Everything from changing my hand at release (more up the back), speed change, ball change, angle changes, etc. Just couldn't get things to work at all. Was so frustrating. One of my worst league nights ever. Everything I tried I had way too much down lane hook. Tried my dull balls to blend it out, nope! .. tried my hybrid pearls, nope! .. moved around, tried everything. Was about to just go to spare ball and target the head pin. Was so frustrating. I just get to the point where I get lost and confused. I think the lanes were funky because it was brutally cold out and our pair was right in line with the front doors. That didn't help at all. Probably lanes on the ends would have been better, but man, what do you do? .. argh!

I really liked this but it was still theoretical since the lane hadn't actually transitioned yet. I would love to see a longer video with 30-50+ shots on the same lane and discussion of actual changes. Maybe editing can keep down the length but I bet there are a lot of people who would watch an hour long video of what's going through the mind of elite bowlers in real-time.

More of these kinds of videos, please! I need more insight into understanding how to analyze what my ball is doing down lane and then what kinds of moves I should consider. You guys are really carrying the YouTube bowling scene!

I feel like a dinosaur. 😀I play with a 30 yr old pink hammer only and we always did the adjustments with our hand, speed and line. This new technology seems scary. All I hear is "get better at bowling" and all the nuances go over my head. I really appreciate the effort you guys put in to explain the modern meta though. Thank you very much for your work.

Brad and Kyle, please throw different balls from the same spot so I can see the difference in hook and reaction. Thanks, love the channel.

Brad & Kyle - This video is actual gold. As a 220 average bowler, this still help me to manage transition and ball change. Appreciate you guys. Keep up the great videos.

“I’m standing here and aiming here, and I want the ball to do this. If i hit my target and it doesn’t do that, I’ll ball up or down” makes way more sense than all of the bowler specific lingo that gets thrown around. When bowlers on YouTube talk about their ball changes they don’t really mention what they’re trying to do in a way that makes sense to someone who doesn’t know the dictionary of bowling specific jargon
