The Buick 455 is 164lbs lighter than a 454 Chevy! Something to keep in mind.

No question here. Just a long time viewer that wants to thank you Berry and Ed for all the time you give us. I always look forward to these ask ed sessions. The oiling 350 video is one of my favorites as well, I have watched and rewatched that episode many times. Great job guys, already looking forward to the next one.

We had several farm trucks with 2 barrel 366 engines , 4 or 5 speeds with 2 speed rear ends . They were dogs , no power , burned gas bad and ours used oil. I would take a 350 or 327 anytime

I've been doing the high temp aluminum paint on stainless steel shim head gaskets since the late '70s. Works great 😊

I was taught to use aluminum paint on steel single-layer BBC head gaskets with iron heads/block. Whenever the heads came off, I had to break the seal using a prybar inside the coolant port - they were STUCK!
