You turned the restoration into something almost ceremonial. The whole process became its own form of art — every component getting deliberate, patient attention. It feels like watching a Japanese craftsman whisk matcha, except you’re doing it with a VCR.

Well done to you, as a repair technician i had a tv and video repair business in the 80's and 90's. Back then these were branded as National machines and I fixed and serviced the older NV 7000, NV300, 333, 370 front loaders, nv600 and nv777 in droves as they were the most popular back then. Back then original service kits including all belts, Idler wheel, pinch roller, back tension band , and a tube of grease for the guidepost tracks was available which made servicing easier. Made some good money servicing these machine as and good to see someone as meticulous as you strip it down and restore it to near new condition. Well done you!

Watching terminator on VHS gives another level of satisfaction. 4K wont give that....

After watching all of it in one go, I understand why YT recommended me this video. No music, precise work with the right tools. The re-assembly alone was a masterpiece: Lubing everything by dispersing the grease with a paint brush was nice to see, someone properly oiling those sintered bearings is something you rarely see in those thousands of "restoration" vids. Hats off to Triple R.

Back when Japanese electronics were top-tier! The level of mechanical engineering on this is immense! And yet the technical skill, and especially patience, to take it all apart and put it back together (even with the schematics) and future proofing it with maintenance work, is a marvel in itself! WELL DONE! 👏

Found in every 80s classroom. When you saw this beast on a table with a tv you knew it was gonna be an easy class 😂

Just so everyone understands: repairing this is one thing, but filming the whole process — and in such great quality — is something completely different.<br>Huge respect and a like to the person who made this!
