  Excellent Video! I have a massive pothos that I have been keeping in a vase with no soil, just water for years! I am going to get a cutting and put it in my 75 gallon tank tonight.

  I bought a pothos from walmart months ago and plopped that bad boy into the tank after a good wash, roots and all. Within a month the roots rotted off and killed some fish. Now I understand that it wasn't the plants fault; it was mine. This has been VERY helpful. I'd like to try those pothos again, the right way this time. <3

  I used peace lilies on my small outdoor pond and worked like a charm ! The guppies loved the clean water .

  I use black swamp Taro for outdoor small ponds that are chained together using one filter set up with only pumices. It grows horribly giants, offshots everywhere, water clean even on direct sun, stable parameters for all ponds, and I only ever do backwash twice this year. It just grow so big and send runners all over the places that I have to trim every weeks. I also make one chamber full of frogbits and they become long necks and big leaves.
