Shotos sisters quirk is dry ice which is why she can't be a hero because she would horrifically injure anyone she hit with her ice 😅

My theory of why deadbead dads are so common in anime is because of the Japanese work culture.

Most of these manga creators most likely have VERY bad relationships with their actual fathers because of men having 80 hour work weeks in japan, and the fathers almost never being home. And then the few times they actually do get to see their dad is when he is seldomly home and probably criticizing the creators about failing grades to focus on writing manga.

Thats why despite these guys always being deadbeats, they are always portrayed as being some big amazing hero that the protagonist look up too, because the protagonist is the manga creator thinking about how they still love and look up to their own dad.

Its really a crazy parallel when you think about it

The craziest thing about Ging is he felt like he would be a terrible father, but if he literally treated Gon like an apprentice or protégé, that actually would’ve been good “parenting” for Gon.

11:13 , small context CJ glossed over but the reason End wanted the oldest to quit is because he noticed he was hurting himself with the flame. 1st time he was kinda acting like a dad

No Ging wasn’t ready to swing on everybody, he did swing on everybody just because they want him to be in Gong life😂

The crazy part about Toya is all they needed was a ice suit for him since his body was more resistant he could have been in a subzero suit that way he can let loose with his flames

Ozai was honorable mention because Avatar isn't anime, just anime inspired. It's highkey goated tho so we include it anyways.
