  I was in Japan this past August, and I miss it more than I expected to. Of course, I was a tourist too, but I can definitely attest to there being a lot of tourists, certainly more than I anticipated. Even with that, there was something about being there that stayed with me.<br><br>I’m already looking forward to returning next December. Japan really has my heart.

  My personal recommendation is, go to small local places. Head into a 70s style cafe, go into that unassuming little restaurant tucked away in a side road. The places where 90% of the tourists drink and eat won&apos;t miss your business and you can get unique more personal experiences.

  Imagine being a young salary person in Tokyo, far away from home, all by yourself and without any relatives close. You&apos;ve never lived on your own and you don&apos;t know how to cook well. You spot a small sign reading &quot;Washoku Kei&quot; and find a mother cooking a new home cooked meal every day.<br><br>No wonder she gets a lot of regulars that come back every day. I bet it must be super comforting.

  I was in Asakusa two weeks ago and the food was ok, a lot of tourists, but fantastic temple. Loved the vibe.<br>Cannot wait to go back next time.

  Love your vids guy&apos;s. Been watching for many years. I would say the biggest advice wich goes with any country really is respect the country, people and culture. As a tourist you are a visitor and you should adjust your behavior and make efforts to take in and enjoy the people and culture of that country. Even if it&apos;s something as simple as learning some simple frases of the language or learning some simple customes. As in life and visiting other countries be respectful. And enjoy.
