  There's one piece of tech I want to see and that's the voice synthesizer. It was one of my favorite pieces of tech in the Arkham games.

  It pains me to say, but Batman’s best use of gadgets in a fight was in BvS. He went through his entire arsenal in that fight, from batarangs to gun disruptors. The warehouse scene was absolutely incredible in showing just how dynamic Batman can be and how much of a problem he is with a full utility belt.

  I wanna see Batman use his cape more. It kinda goes with the creature of the night persona but I wanna see him protect his face from fire and chemicals with it or use it to protect civilians from debris

  I think Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez pretty much nailed the design, tone, and style I’d want to see from the DCU Batman. His suit is modernized while still being classically fabric. He has crazy gadgets that are on Iron Man levels of advanced which sells the idea of him being able to fight with and alongside metahumans. The tone is still serious but still has moments of levity. Also Gotham being more of a neon lit cyberpunk-esque city is a nice change up. All this to say I think these elements appeal to James Gunns sensibilities and how he’s setting up this universe tonally.
