When I was out with the dogs this morning, I came across a discarded Christmas tree (I presume), lying on the side of the road. At first I was sad, then I started wondering if it could be turned into a bonsai somehow... and that's all your fault! Haha. Started watching a while ago cos I was gifted a bonsai kit (can't remember the species off the top of my head but it has thin red leaves) and I want to give it the best chance. I'm waiting for spring so I've just been watching all your back catalogue so that I'm well prepared. But I do have a 10 year old jade that I now want to turn into a forest. I haven't done any major pruning to it but you've given me the confidence to "be bold". Once I find the right pot. I do wish you could do it for me though. I'm nervous even though I know it's a hardy little thing.

I have never never never considered actually starting a bonsai project out of respect.   Never.    I just have my  pruning projects around the yard.  No big deal.  It is so helpful to see Peter clip clip clip.  But this.   A wooden box.  YES   Absolutely no problmo.   A long wooden box.  So so much fun.  Just rip some of my put up five quarter pine boards and SLAP them together and there ya go.   A Forest.    Make a Bonsai FOREST.   So Exciting a "prospect."   So much "potential."    Thank you Peter for sharing all that you do!    ❇New Hampshire ❇

Thank-you!! Now I know what to try with my one-sided pine tree. Can't wait to see it in a few weeks/months.
