Can we get a "Bonamassa noodling all day" Spotify playlist? I want my neighbors to think I'm awesome.

The les Paul tone you’re getting Joe, is incredibly beautiful, and very close.to what Eric got on the blusebreakers lp. I thought he sounded his best with that les Paul.

The era when Clapton left his mark on the music world for good. That and Cream of course, Joe Bonamassa i saw recently and you have to thank people like Clapton and so many others that we have a Joe Bonamass today. Fantastic tone he gets, and what a talent, thank you to all that inspired him to play.

His tone is FOR ME the best Gibson tone I have never heard since Sleepy Time Time (Cream). Great video !

I am a total shred head guitar player fan. I love everything from Jason Becker to Yngwie Malmsteen to Dweezil Zappa, to even guitar players whose main focus wasn’t shredding from Eddie Van Halen to Leslie West. But there is something extra special about this era of Eric Clapton, between the stuff he did with the Blues Breakers to Cream. I absolutely 100% agree with Greg Koch when he said with that era of Clapton, NO ONE could touch Eric. It is still true to this day.

Always liked the Cream versions of Steppin Out. Bruce and Baker helped expand it sonically.

Cream would cover it live, but too my ears, the one on beano is the holy grail of overdriven bursts through a Marshall combo , the tone he got, with all that volume bleeding through the other mikes, it was everything all at once, that makes it so great. And…I love the back up riff he played behind Mayalls B3 solo, that almost never gets discussed
