An old timer had me use a 1x3 oak or hickory board when I did my first car. Worked great for blocking. Easy to cut different lengths for larger or small areas

I got a few linier blocks about a year ago.. noticed a HUGE difference. The clear will definitely show. I plan on getting more asap
