19:57 Honor-Worn Shaku is a beast when you’re playing with shrines. Suddenly, your enchantments that just sit there become mana sources.

For cards like Soul Conduit and Reverse the Sands, the effects get interpreted by the game as "the affected players will either gain or lose an appropriate amount of life in order to end up at their correctly calculated life totals". So if you have an effect that prevents players from gaining life, or something like Bloodletter of Aclazotz or Plague Drone, those effects will be considered when resolving the Conduit or Sands, and could straight up end the game on the spot.

20:56 Soul conduit would go hard in my M.O.D.O.K deck as a win con. I had no idea this thing existed, so thank you!

There seems to be a perpetually growing advantage us old players have every year in our vast knowledge of OLD (now expensive) cards that have already been tried and tested hundreds of times and now being able to combo with them with newer cards. We got those old cards for pennies back in the day. Now if new players want those cards it costs dollars and quite a few of them.

Sometimes the advantage is also knowing the cards similar to each other but slightly different mana cost, keywords, etc or cards with different names but play nearly identically. Plus, we already know how to deal with old cards. New players have a whole learning curve on the spot.

I love when I play an old obscure card and the whole table is lile "wtf is this? No way this card exists".
