I would hate Sheltered By Ghosts a lot less if it didn't feel like every opponent I ever play against somehow has 32 copies in hand on turn 2.

I'm glad someone relates, I operate in standard with a non meta deck and I was excited for updates with various cards, only for the first day to be a pile of all the cards mentioned in this video from the dreg robot grinders. Like I can beat every type of deck on this list with my non meta deck, but damn it's not fun, and it's definitely not consistent, so it drags on and on. I wish Wizards stopped making these design decisions because so many of them were obviously going to have these problems day one.

Thanks for venting, I know I needed to hear someone just recap what sucks, especially with so much fun Reality Fracture cards out there that just aren't shining that should be right now.

I hate everyone of those cards :) Especially Jeskai Revelation. I also can't stand the fact there are so many board wipes available, every set has a ton of creatures, that mean flop all, if you a just keep getting board wiped over and over, waiting for them to play a single planeswalker to slowly grind you down. You are spot on when you say, it's not fun, make the game a challenge, for both players, and not simply who can just destroy everything first , until someone gets so bored they just scoop.

Nice shirt 😂 totally agree about annex, can't wait to see it rotate out. They couldn't even bother to fix that obnoxious sound bug

Great list. Hits all my high points. Agree with the "R&D" why did you do this question. Seems there are so many "I win" cards now. So many must answer or lose things. Unstoppable Slasher will not be missed.

Good rant and agree 99%. It makes me mad wotc halfassed alchemy because all the cards could've been nerfed but wotc gave up on adjusting OP cards, which was half the sales pitch of alchemy.

I will say lotta these are BO1 issues but I play it too so I relate. I will defend nowhere to run because ward/hexproof is even less fun, and if someone has the counter to my counter I can't get mad.

I agree with just about everything on this list. It’s interesting because we definitely have different tastes in the decks we play. Some cards are just universally hated.

We all have decks we don’t like playing against but I can’t wait for rotation. My personal hated decks are all taking a hit (the unfair decks mostly).
