  That Jacob Hauken strategy looks similar to my Marvo, Deep Operative strategy. Kinda nice to see topdeck manipulation be effective.

  To speak to Kevin’s list I played him in round 2. On turn 2 he cast a ral and proceeded to ultimate it. Wheeled us 3 times, and proceeded to use all of his rituals and absolutely cooked us. Kevin’s a great guy and it was fun to pick his brain about the list. I should’ve known to mulligan deeper as he snap kept his first 7 and proceeded to pitch his demonic consultation to a chrome mox. It was a crazy sequence of events and was definitely cool to watch. Losing on turn 2 (he was in seat 1) was crazy.

  Fun fact Niall should’ve top 4ed but he built the deck at 2am the night before and forgot witherbloom apprentice, he had a resolved gsz and chain in hand. Grabbed a random green creature and chained anyway before losing to a very hilarious grindy game to rob on Marneus.

  The mono green decks all have a similar shell and ups and downs.<br><br>You can run Shang-Chi as the commander or almost any of the legends and it just &quot;works&quot; as durdling around with so many creatures is resilient against most of the free counters that are non-creature and people pack very few removal in lots of places.<br><br>There is very little to punish those decks to flood the board with creatures, Toxic Deluge and the like can be backbreaking, but who plays that ?<br><br>Shang-Chi and Marvin allow for so much lines with Formidable Speaker, you can have hundreds of lines to get the combo going from all kinds of boards, and its especially surprising if it comes down with flash.
