The prisoner's clapping is what always gets me and what truly makes the scene for me, happy to see that's the thing getting the biggest laughs from others too.

Fun fact: the baby is Michael Palin's son. And I love how absolutely nobody caught the joke of Sir Bedevere telling Arthur: "And that my liege, is how we know the earth to be banana shaped.". And Arthur replying, "Tell me again how sheeps bladders can be used to prevent earthquakes."

And the aptly named "Sir Not-Appearing-in-this-Film". Monty Python at its finest.

John Cleese's explanation of the film's budget explained so much. They couldn't afford to use more than one castle for filming on location, plus other castles would not allow them on historical ground for satirical purposes as well, and certainly they had no budget to rent over a dozen horses. So Eric Idle came up with the fake horse meme and the coconut clapping! Jackpot!!! 😂😂😂

The end joke ("On second thought, let's not go to Camelot... it is a silly place.") comes from Graham Chapman's military character from the series, where he frequently will break in and tell the others that it is getting too silly.

I've been watching the Pythons since I was in middle school. It's gotten to the point where I'm fully accustomed to the absurdity of their works. Just seeing others (who have no idea who they are or what they are known for) being introduced to them and being totally flabbergasted by their antics is entertaining.<br>I love how the prisoner clapping along caused pretty much everyone to break into uncontrollable fits of laughter. 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
