For me, the funniest bit is missing from these reactions. When the crowd of fanatics collectively agrees that they are individuals, a lone voice is heard to say "I'm not."

Fun fact. The life of Brian was banned in Abersystwyth in Wales until Sue Jones-Davies who played Judith, bacame the Mayor of that town

Irony. A situation in which the words offered appear to have one meaning that is contradicted by the intended and true meaning. Brian: You are all individuals. Crowd chanting in robotic unison, as one: Yes! We are all individuals! Irony. One lone voice: I'm not. Irony. The lone voice was trying to say he was not an individual and was a mindless clone ... and so proved he was unique and nothing like the crowd by trying to be a part of the crowd. A perfect example of irony. 😂. Inexplicably they cut out the best bit of the film.

"How should we fuck off oh lord?" is the best line in the movie.
