For those of you considering doing the Patreon, I'd highly recommend it. I hesitated to spend money on something I can listen to for free, because I value my pennies. But it's so worth it. These guys are just so much fun and their takes are so fresh and honest that it makes me enjoy what I already enjoy even more. I'm really looking forward to the live listens. I won't pay forever, but for these guys and the Beatles? heck yeah.

From a comment on the Rain official video: "For 99% of bands, this would be their best track. For The Beatles, buried as a B side that didn’t even make it to an album."<br><br>That's how good they were.

Ringo’s drumming on Revolver is insane.

As a young drummer, Rain is the Beatles song that convinced me Ringo was wayyyy more badass than I'd given him credit for. As I got older and more experienced it just convinced me of his greatness. Same thing happened for me with Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones too. Two drummers whose styles aren't in your face but are perfect for the bands they were in.

Paul's bass playing is another level and they wrote the album when they were in their mid 20's

Yellow Submarine was a song they wrote as a sing-a-long for kids This was totally their own song and melody. A true Beatles original.
