  The one that gets people isn&apos;t the cheap filter, it&apos;s the anti-drainback valve. Cheap nitrile<br>hardens, the oil drains back to the pan overnight, and your engine cranks dry for a couple of<br>seconds every cold morning. That&apos;s the single most damaging moment in an engine&apos;s life and it&apos;s<br>decided by a two dollar rubber ring you never see.<br><br>What filter are you running, and how many miles are on it?

  Mobil 1 filter and Mobil 1 full syn oil. Have worked well in all my vehicles for decades.

  I have 400,567 miles on a dodge ram 1500 SLT 5.7 ltr engine using 5w 30 Pennzoil ultra platinum oil and a mobile &nbsp;1 synthetic filter, I changed the oil every 5000 miles and no problems.

  Use fram for years and still today.. had 97 Toyota corolla only had fram and quaker state oil &nbsp;in at 450 thousand miles on .. car was still running great when i &nbsp;got rid of the car.. ( body fell apart) &nbsp;no smoke didnt burn change oil twice a year..

  Running penn ultra oil and top tier fuel with mobile filter, 168000 miles. 2014,3.5 turbo XLT. &nbsp;Great runing truck, very reliable and quieter running motor since I change to penn years ago. Thanks for the video 😃

  I use wix filter and Castro 5-30 synthetic oil in my 97 2.3 ford ranger and it’s at over 500 thousand miles!

  I was on a long trip in my truck, I had my oil changed at an oil change franchise. When I got home I changed my oil again. The filter they put on my heavy duty truck was half the size of a normal filter. For $130 I get a $3 oil filter.

  I have 2 trucks. my daily driver is a 97 K1500 with a 5.7 L. I used regular Mobil 10w/30 conventional oil with a super tech filter for the first 100,000 miles. I figured I would try the Mobil one oil and filter. It consumed a little bit. This makes no sense, but after talking to an older gentleman at the shop where I have, my truck worked on, he suggested 5W-30. He also suggested the high mileage, even though there was no leaking. I’ve been using it ever since. Mileage is about 220,000. No issues.<br><br>My other truck is a 2002 F350 with a 7.3 L diesel. I have always used Rotella T-4 and a Motorcraft filter. It has 575,000 miles on it and hasn’t been touched. I change it every 5000 miles.

  Been using Amsoil since they started . Usually put around 300000 miles on my vehicles , after switching to Amsoil , the 150000 engine rebuild was no longer needed , and oil changed every 10000 miles . Engine was no longer a problem . Now retiered but my personal car gets the same treatment .
