13:45 It's worth mentioning these are highlights of the best plays. Normal play has its fair share of players giving balls too early or holding them too long.

The fact you worked out that you can only tackle the player with the ball whereas NO other reactor has picked up on this (as far as I've seen) from the countless similar videos I've watched, shows you know what you mean. You also noticed and correctly called a 'fake' pass which in rugby is called a 'dummy pass'. Very astute.

1:30 If that kick bounces and goes out, his team gets to throw back in in a good attack position (normally the team that didn't put the ball out of play gets to throw in, but special rules apply here). It's not unreasonable to not expect the Fijian player to be able to cover it. It's not a bad idea to try, it just profoundly didn't pay off.

3:54 Correct! You can only tackle the player holding the ball! There is some grace/wiggle room for if you commit to the tackle before they pass so getting smashed a millisecond after you pass is a common occurrence, but so is kicking so it's illegal to tackle you.

3:30+ That is LRZ, The rugby player that joined the nfl via the international something program like Jordan Mailata from the Eagles. He was picked by the Chiefs but he just could not push through. That try he scores there is also 1 of his easiest ever scored, he is TONNS better than that.

Rugby is kinda like American football but with far fewer stops and starts, far less padding and it overall more fast pace, American football is very stop and start and feels more like chess piece moves.

Rugby can be a brutal sport, I played it when I was a kid in the UK and being I'm a small build, it wasn't for me lol.

I also didn't realise Rugby existed in the US considering how popular American football is, I would've thought there would be no space for another sport with rules that are not too different from it.

That was a good play. Few metres to his left and it would have been brilliant play. Rugby however doesn't work like that unfortunately. Good teams punish errors

Yeah, only a player with the ball can be tackled, hence why an offensive player about to be overwhelmed will kick the ball forward, also it's illegal to tackle a player who is in the air with both feet off the ground, hence why players usually dive when scoring, unless a defender can get under the ball the try is as well as scored once the dive begins...
