  When a "name brand" chef opens up dozens of eateries all over the world, all bets are off. There's no way he can control the quality, as you have proven today, Gary. His motivation is profit, not quality...take that as you wish. Great job, as always mate.

  Well said Gary. As a chef myself I think a lot of these high end restaurants are over hyped and over priced. 🤷‍♂️( six pounds for a bottle of water)!! That is taking the piss!!

  According to UK law, service charges added by the restaurant are entirely optional. If you refuse to pay it , there is nothing they can do.

  That curry 100% looked like a microwave meal you'd pick up from Aldi for a couple of quid! Keep up the good work and reviews - yours is a very enjoyable channel.

  Wow. Great review and you have a refreshingly honest way about you. The one thing that really shook we was the lamb Rogan josh. When you first showed it to us I assumed it was a Starter dish. When it turned out to be the actual main course I agreed with you that it was a very meagre portion to say the every least.

  I love your reviews Gary because you visit, order and eat in the same way we all do. You don’t chat with the chef or get taken there by an insider and so you get the same treatment we all would get. And your reviews are always more than fair, based on flavour versus price. <br><br>By the way, six pounds for a bottle of water! That’s probably six times what we pay for petrol here in Australia.

  Good to hear its not just me with the Brioche bun/burger thing. Sesame bun for me everytime. My other burger pet hate is when the burger is massively taller than it is wide - impossible to bite into properly, usually end up knocking it to bits all over the plate and eating it with a knife and fork.<br><br>Anyway, interesting day out, thanks for uploading, liking this format 👍

  The reason you were asked if you’d booked even though it was quiet was to check if you were one of the people who had in case you had left any specific instructions or requests. Often people book in advance, not because it will be busy, but because they have special requirements. Checking if you were one of these people is good practice.
