  Knowing that Ternus&apos; started out in the VR space in the 90s completely adds a new layer to the story of Vision Pro. John&apos;s first new hardware category at Apple being a callback to his beginnings is too cute

  I&apos;ve just noticed that theres a parallel between modern Apple and its relationship with AI, and its relationship with the web back in the late 90s early 2000s. They weren&apos;t out there trying to get companies to buy their servers as much as possible, or investing in startup internet companies / shops with the hopes of getting a return from it. Instead they were selling the computers made to browse the web.

  Also if it turns out that AI as it currently exists is just a bubble, the company that developed better hardware still has something to sell after the collapse.

  For me Apple was always THE COMPUTER company after 2007. No laggy UI on THEIR Hardware. Track pads unmatched until today. Color accuracy when other companies still used TN displays. High DPi Displays when others were proud of FullHD. Unmatched sound on laptops. Drop Intel for bad battery and CPU performance. ALWAYS working hibernate. Best build-in video call cameras. Building a COHERENT ecosystem between devices. &nbsp;No cross marketing with bloatware to keep hardware cheap - if John Temus eliminates the biggest short cut REPAIRABILITY<br>Nice!<br><br>For &quot;Toyota/VW&quot; instead of &quot;Mercedes/BMW&quot; hardware I use Gnome Desktop on Linux anyway 😁<br>(YES, I&apos;m a nerd)
