It's probably ridiculous that a grown woman, actually, with well-grown kids, and even grown grandkids, shed tears over a cat that she's never met in her life, but this one did. Gracie Lou was so, so beautiful and looked much younger than her years. I know you'll miss her terribly. We will, too. Much love.

OK. I'm almost 75. I've stopped the video before you're even done with the first recipe because this brings back MEMORIES!! I had a four quart Rival crock pot where the innards were fixed and the whole pot had to be carefully washed out. (I have the same model that I use now that I got at a church sale for $2) . This was one of my first crockpot recipes and I haven't made it in years. However, many times I substituted peach jam for the apricot jam, and in my mind our Russian dressing was not orange but much redder--kind of like Kraft Catalina. Anyway, I'm going to put this on my list of dinners to make again. I've been married more than 55 years, so this had to be from the early 70s. THANKS for sharing.

For corn tortillas, wrap them in a wet paper towel and microwave them for 1 minute

So sorry to hear about Gracie Lou. We will miss seeing her so much on your video's. I hope your broken hearts heal, and they will with time.... I hope that you will get another kitty that needs a home someday... for there are so many of them, and you would have a great home for one to share with you. And it would help your broken hearts too. Corn tortillas prep Mandy: lighty fry the tortillas in oil, just to moisten, NOT to crisp... maybe 10 sec total for each tortilla. After lightly frying, drain on paper towels.... no more fall apart! ❤
