The charger is meant for a more silent engine and smoother run. When i first saw it in 2023 i was shocked by the change but i still thought it was cool

Caltrain is in Northern California and is still around. Their last 3 F40s are being leased to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the NPCUs on Surfliner wear an 80s style heritage livery based off of the initial Caltrain scheme.

One oddity you maybe can answer. I have only noticed this with the Amtrak trains, the wheel often have no outside frame support. As a O gauge model train operator, and also repair them as well. Yes, the model version diesel or electric type engine motor assembly does not use the outside frames, but they are added to those other models to look realistic. Then we have Amtrak with those missing.

(Chargers growl) I am very pro Charger, also I respect your opinion on the Charger. Siemens is fixing the Charger problem that has been plaguing the entire fleet. Siemens Charger just PLEASE DON’T END UP LIKE THE HHP-8S!!!!

You need to fix your audio balancing. <br><br>The filmed segments sounded incredibly quiet, especially compared to the segments where you spoke through a mic in post. <br><br>I had to change my volume multiple times just to hear you without blowing out my speakers.
