I consider this more of a documentary than a movie. More people NEED to see this film.

GRS is a CIA paramilitary security unit within the CIA’s Special Operations Group. It stands for Global Response Staff and they’re responsible for protecting CIA personnel and assets in high-threat level environments.

I was rehabbing a broken leg when this movie became available on Amazon. I watched it three times in a row.

36:23 No one really knows who is who in an environment like that. Thats why he said “I’m not aware of any friendlies, no confirmation.” This doesn’t make someone or a group hostile automatically but having that mindset in an environment like that would heighten your awareness which is good.

Those kids knew exactly what they were doing, and you understand by the end of the movie they were judging distance

It's a bit like what happened in South Vietnam before the US military turned up. When the CIA and military advisors were "secretly" there. It can be a messy world sometimes.

This is my favorite of your reactions so far. I actually met the real "Tanto" and "Boon" a few years back. They conducted tactical training/shooting seminars around the country and I was able to attend one. Plus I was able to have Tanto sign my copy of his first book. So much respect for them.

 Tiên, Lan
3 of the real men who fought during that “battle” were brought in during the production. Tig, Oz, and Tanto all provided the cast with their experiences in order to best portray it in the movie. Not only did they help with their characters, but provided some military training or technical assistance. I’m glad you two watched this movie. My favorite part(s) are seeing these men together or seeing their families. They are just like us, but are able to protect themselves and the people around them. Great movie!
