  I drove a 1991 Jeep Cherokee with the HO 4Liter, for 19 years. It was by far the most reliable vehicle I&apos;ve owned and I started driving since the late 60&apos;s. The only time it left me stranded was from a faulty pick-up coil in the distributor. $40 part and I did it myself.

  Every Corolla, Camry, and Highlander I have purchased in the past 30+ years has been built in the USA. All of them have out performed my expectations. It shows that the problem is not with American workers, but with the myopic vision of US management.

  My dad had an XJ. He koved it and was a reliable vehicle. Far better than anything that Jeep has now.

  My first car was a 1996 Jeep Cherokee I bought at 15 for $1600 in 2014. It had 180000 miles but it was mine. I got it repainted, put a small lift on it myself with the help of my dad and friends, and maintained it myself because of how easily the parts could be changed and purchased. I would 4wheel it with my buddies, take it hunting, and it could do anything a teenage dummy could think of and it would still get me home. I hate that it became the catalyst for all of the “SUV” junk on the roads today but it is still undoubtedly one of the greatest vehicles of all time. It ran from 1984-2001 basically unchanged and that in itself tells you how legendary these things were. I sold mine around the 225,000 mile mark and it still ran strong with no issue other than rust. I do miss it sometimes but it went on to make another kid happy as their first car

  The last American car that I owned was a 2002 Ford Taurus Wagon. It was a great car but it did not take long for it to become obvious to me that Ford had no plan to replace it or even to renew / refine it. I had some idea as to why this was happening. This video simply gave me the details.

  Still driving my XJ on the highway and on mountain trails. &nbsp;Decades old and several hundred thousand miles on the straight 6 with every indication it will happily go hundreds of thousands more. &nbsp;The XJ is one of the most reliable vehicles I&apos;ve ever owned and the easiest to repair. &nbsp;I fully expect I&apos;ll pass away before it does.
