  Good video! &nbsp;I tested these in gel and my results look pretty much like everyone else&apos;s, so I sent some 9mm Underwood bullets to a friend who regularly shoots feral hogs. His experience after examining the wound channel s was that the damage was comparable to a 9mm Gold Dot. A friend of his used the .45 version and it also produced good results. Between all of the testing and their experiences I believe these rounds work in the real world. My hypothesis is that multiple effects are combining to cause the temporary cavity&apos;s expansion rates to exceed the elastic limits the surrounding tissue resulting in hydraulic damage/tearing of that tissue. That&apos;s just a hypothesis from a layman, so make of it what you will. The main point is that observed performance on living tissue in the real world seems to confirm the gel test results, so I am confident enough in these to use them in my carry gun.

  I appreciate your niche place on this platform. Sometimes it can be a smidge to technical for me, but I know that I’m getting an educated, honest take on questions I didn’t know that I may have on the subjects at hand. I really like how it’s not just flashy / shill / plug product here type algorithm pushing guntuber slop that I’ve grown so extremely annoyed and tired of.   Some history on these. original patents were from Charles Kelsy (Devel firearms) in the early 90&apos;s, US5133261A, US5133261. I know Charles and saw some of the original test results. Just wanted to give him some credit on the concept.

  TLDR since people dont like to watch the video and still comment. Worse case scenario, these exhibit more reliable and barrier blind JHP performace. Still a good selling point. Best case scenario, you believe the extra shit about tissue tearing and now their more reliable, barrier blind, and more lethal. Shitting over-marketing from g9 aside, they&apos;re still a solid concept.

  Fluted definitely shines in mouser calibers like .380, .38 special, .32, etc. They are the most consistent performers in shorter barrels where velocity is typically lacking and expansion is at best iffy.

  I’mma hypothesize that this ~2000fps/permanent wound cavity relationship is an oversimplification of conservation of momentum displacing tissue beyond the elastic modulus of the tissue, where IHPs impart a much lower stress (same force over a much larger area), and EHPs focus the stress onto much smaller areas.
