It boggles my mind how much detail, attention, and thought they put into this show. So many things you don’t even realize they thought of until someone points it out.

Also it actually make sense that Ben was so much against Alex's and Carl's relationship.
He even said once that he was afraid she would get pregnant.

I think another reason Ben was so invested in the problem was because of Alex’s future and his fear if she became pregnant

The lack of a continuation of Annie's story always hurt! Writers seemed like they were sad about it too.

As a person who kept watching Lost solely to discover what an Egyptian statue was doing on the Polynesian island and was incredibly disappointed when even in the end it was never answered many years ago, I loved how you metaphorically connected Juliet with the fertility goddess.

I always speculated that Annie was murdered in the purge, or that her parents made them leave due to the growing conflict between Dharma and the others. People did have the option to leave back then, as Charlotte and her family leaves. -Either case would've given Linus all the more reason to hate Widmore for either killing or driving out his only friend and possible first love.
I don't think she died during pregnancy with his kid, as that could've easily been added in in a throw-away line by Linus by saying that he had "lost 2 children now" after Alex's murder.
I think it's more likely that the missing scenes with Annie was a possible "Serverous Snape" situation, where Widmore promised Linus to spare Annie from the purge but lied just to prove his status, and thus making Linus use Annie's death as an argument to prove to the rest that he Widmore wasn't to be trusted and should be voted out. Afterall, Widmore lost power shortly after the purge.
Besides, nothing eludes to Linus having previously had any kind of steady and serious relations with a woman. Seeing as he had been the leader for many years, one would assume that someone would've been keen to become the "leader's mistress," yet everything points to the opposite, indicating that gaining that power wasn't worth it as it meant being with him, with his erratic personality.

Wow. I honestly don’t know what to say. Although I basically knew all of this information, the way you put it together artistically and how beautiful you worded this video really touched me and made me tear up.

What an amazing piece devoted to Juliet, the savior of the island. Many say Locke has the most tragic story on the show, but I’ve always felt Juliet does - she’s trapped in a time loop and, as you mentioned, she is the embodiment of “we are the causes of our own suffering.”

This channel is amazing and your work is absolutely excellent. Love, love, love this video!

Ironic that Juliet, the woman who was struggling to find the cause of fatal pregnancies on the Island ended up being the one who CREATED the reason for them.

Sheesh, Juliet got put THROUGH IT. My favorite character atm, she just wanted to help people. The actress really fit the role, like everyone else in the show

I've always felt like Juliet was one of the most important character in lost and was often severely overlooked. That's the first time I watch a video that shares the exact same elements that always made me think that. Plus the analogy she gives at the end between the vending machine and the whole island mecanism.
