  I drive a 2006 XK. I agree that it's such a good looking car whenever you park it you can't help looking back at it. Gets a lot of compliments. And a child up to about 10 or even 12 years can fit very comfortably in the back seat behind the front passenger on long journeys

  I love my 2007 xk , wish I had bought one few years ago , drove a friends xk one day and just wanted one straight away , went home sold the Audi a5 cab and just had to have a jag …. <br>I love the body shape , comfort, and the way she picks up her skirt and grows and fly’s along.

  I agree with everything you said about these cars. &nbsp;They are fantastic, especially at their current values. &nbsp;I&apos;ve had mine longer than any other car I&apos;ve owned. &nbsp;Other cars have come and gone but I&apos;ve never been able to part with the XK. &nbsp;It has taken me all over the UK and to Europe and has genuinely been very reliable. &nbsp;<br><br>I can forgive its thirst for petrol as soon as I hear it fire into life and start driving.

  I sold my convertible XK (4.2) last year, having taken it all over France. The £4k per year maintenance costs got too much - the subframe gremlins just wouldn&apos;t go away. I have regretted that decision every time I drive its replacement. Simply put, XKs are wonderful.

  I&apos;ve got 3 of these beauties, 2008 4.2 XKR, 2011 5.0 NA XK and a 2014 5.0 XKRS, literally the greatest car ever made if you factor in Price, Cost To Own, Looks and fun. All the appeal of a muscle car, the looks of a premium British GT, loads of great quality aftermarket parts and specialist mechanics that know everything about them, charging less per hour than a franchise autocenter does to fix a Polo.

  Agreed. Lovely cars. I like the F Type also. My preference is for <br>a pink one with an electric motor. I like to continually stop for long coffee breaks when heading down to the south of France😂
