I am a German who moved to Brazil two years ago (also south, Rio Grande do Sul) and I absolutely second everything you said. Totally happy with the move (that'd being said, I work in IT remotely, so that plays a big role) and I love the culture and people and I don't think I'd move back to Germany!

Moved to Brazil from USA in 2009 and never looked back! Resided in Petropolis for 12 years then relocated to Curitiba, was definitely a good choice.

The system is very prevention-oriented, and the main limitation is often the patients’ willingness to follow through, not the system itself. 😁
