The problem with Vanity doing Purple Rain was money ...Vanity said Prince only wanted to pay her 5k. but she wanted more & felt she deserved more Vanity wabted 1million ..Prince told her he couldnt give her 1million ...But Berry Gordy offered Vanity 300k for the leading role in The Last Dragon .Vanity took Berry's offer & told Prince " Im outta her "

One of my first concerts was Prince featuring Vanity 6.<br>I was in the 3rd role<br>I felt like she was using me as her focal point all night. It was an amazing night R.I.P my beautiful angel !<br>🕊🙏
