  It’s dead because there’s no cellphone signal inside the mall! It is very cumbersome if you want to meet somebody there.

  I last visited this mall 3-4 years ago and now it is much better than that time with about a handful of actual customers.

  This mall was dead in 2019 and COVID all played a part. However now it's better they also have some good restaurants and cafes

  There's a broken glass panel in the center court roof. I've heard that management still don't have the funds to fix it right away 😅. So just keep your heads up when you guys walk through that area 🙂

  I met a realtor state agent in market village who predicted the failure of  kings square years before they even started building. He was right. Look at China tower across from Pacific Mall, they never went to phase two. Why? No businuess

  Malls in Toronto that are attached to public transportation Eatons, Fairview, etc are thriving but the other malls like Pacific, STC are going empty

  Pacific Mall - the tenants there only pay the utilities/taxes nowadays, that's how the mall is able to keep tenants there - no rent is paid on the units (at least the small stalls).

  This mall is not popular because of several reasons. First, the mall is just north of an outdoor plaza of Woodbine and 16th Ave. T & T Supermarket has a stronghold in the outdoor plaza. Second, this mall was opened, a year or so, before COVID. At the time, a lot of unit owners bought for investment and renting purposes, therefore, when it was opened, majority of the units are vacant. Third, most of the units are just too small nor functional. Last but not least, the main and only entrance is on a side street. The shoppers must drive around into the parking lot. It is simply inconvenience to shop there.

  Great Vid! The basketball court with the ping pong tables has got to be really popular in that area. Pretty cool to see that in a mall tbh.

  markham and richmond look like im driving in peterborough, nothing to fucking do. at least this mall isnt in limbo death like Dragon Centre, finally dying
