たまたま叔父さんの家で聴いたデキシター ゴートンの「アワー マン イン パリ」でジャズに興味を持ちました。さらにラジオで聴いたコルトレーンの「至上の愛」のテナーサックスの音色に痺れました。それ以来、ジャズ喫茶に入り浸っていました。20歳前後の思い出です。配信ありがとう。

A true Prince, a fabulous musician. <br>Came across this artist while reading Michael Connelly's "The Black Echo".<br>Putting the book away, got the tablet and thanks to You Tube there he was playing Soul Eyes.

trane is so famous for his inspired passionate late recordings which pushed the possibilities of jazz into new heights... <br>but he was already GREAT when he played mainstream post-bebop "normal" jazz.
