  I was a friend of the late Ben Drew. &nbsp;He was doing air cargo to the Congo. &nbsp;He was framed for the Hammarskjold air crash. &nbsp;It was pilot error. He was then press ganged in to setting up Air America. &nbsp;Why they have never made a movie about that guy!

  Hmm. 2003 was the greatest blow to the UN: &nbsp;Bush said if the UN didn&apos;t vote for war in Iraq it would make itself irrelevant.<br><br>But that was disingenuous - it was Bush making the UN irrelevant, because it was the US that was acting against the wishes of the UN - and acting in matters of war absent UN authorisation. &nbsp;No automaticity, remember?<br><br> That&apos;s what finished the UN as a crucial intermediary and restraint on war. &nbsp;Bit tough to call out Russia a decade later because of all that. &nbsp;<br><br>Also, not unrelated, was the massaging of news in favour of the assault on Iraq, twisting the facts and inculcating a deep cynicism toward western leadership and the Press. &nbsp;I feared the consequences of the press manipulation back then and here we are - can&apos;t but help conclude they are related.

  What’s “out of whack” gentlemen, is that we do NOT support these other factions, (Sudan, etc..) in the out of kilter way that we support Israel.. huge reason for Gaza to be in the news.. we support Netanyahu, ergo we are supporting this slaughter.
