As a performance major in my senior year, I can say this is pretty universal for music majors. Most classes are music related minus your gen eds (pro tip finish them off first don’t leave them for the end like I did). Planning out your day/ practice times is a super helpful tip as well

im a junior in highschool and i go to a performing arts school for the cello. everyone always talks about how miserable they are as a music student and it makes me question of i even want to go to school for music. even though it does seem like a lot, i’m really passionate about the cello and i can’t wait to go to college for it :) great video btw it was very nice :]

love this video, thanks for sharing! i'm a cellist i've been playing for 8 years and hopefully applying to Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Wales.... you helped a lot with thinking about practicing techniques, it can feel over whelming thinking about auditioning when you rarely see people share their experiences actually studying there so thanks! :)

I got rejected by JHU lol, but I got into Vandy. Not a music student, but I like playing the violin and like playing in an orchestra even more. Peabody at JHU would've been great : (

 Shoutout to Kreutzer!
Thanks for your video it's purely awesome. As a science/tech major for my whole life I've always wondered what the other side would be like, and what you've put together is a nice and artsy potray. Loving it!
Keep the good work on, this is my meditation channel haha💛
