  Something I never noticed before, as many times as I’ve seen this:<br>Dianne says” We’re not gonna get anywhere by moaning.”<br>Then, only moments later they are practicing moaning, posing as zombies to get somewhere. Just nonstop with the clever.

  I went to a con as Shaun a few years ago. The sheer number of people who told me &quot;You&apos;ve got red on you&quot; was incredible. My favorite was Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect saying &quot;You&apos;ve got red on you.&quot;

  favorite little detail, Shaun switches to diet coke right before the apocalypse starts, so even if the zombies hadn&apos;t showed up he was actually trying to make small changes in his life.

  I remember listening to the Dawn of the Dead director&apos;s commentary and George Romero saying he absolutely loved Shaun of the Dead. So much so, he invited Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright to have cameos in Land of the Dead as zombies. There&apos;s a mini doc of the two flying to the states, meeting Romero and getting into makeup. Really cool example of meeting your hero and them not being a complete twat.

  The script is the closest I’ve seen to a symmetrical movie. The number of call backs/double meanings is truly insane. <br>You could watch the movie multiple times and still not catch them all

  When I saw this movie, it was playing at my local theater around Halloween. My girlfriend and I had no idea that the local community college had planned a costume party at the theater, so practically everyone in the audience was dressed as zombies! It was just us and two other people who weren’t dressed as the walking dead, which made the whole experience even more fun. Of course, the zombies kept trying to eat us before and after the movie. 😁

  For those of us that saw Shaun of the Dead first it was such a treat seeing side characters &amp; zombies get other roles in Hot Fuzz. <br><br>The “give us a break” ricochet bullet to the head lady as the shop keeper / “no luck catching them killers then?” lady in particular

  Everything in this movies pays off later. Its amazing. &quot;You wanna live live an animal, go live in the shed&quot;, ed is now living in the shed at the end lol

  George A Romero the godfather of zombie movies &nbsp; loved this parody of his films so much that he cast Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright in Land of the Dead they both had cameos as zombies. Simon Pegg was a zombie version of his character in this movie.
