A lot of ppl think tha islamik bank is halal .... Do the bank really bought the house and then resell it to the buyer .... Can the bank show the buyer the transaction .... If they can provide the buyer the proof then i can say it halal ....but from what im study there is no transaction happen it was bridging loan system .... Buyer paid to the bank and the bank take the interest and paid tha balance to developer .... Same like covensional and the only difference is akad hahaha....the nature of bis for bank is lending money .....

Islamic Banking :

- Buys the House from The developers for 1,000,000

- so the house now is under Islamic Banking name (example : Bank Rosmah)

- so now as a buy who wants to buy that house that buyer must buy it from bank Rosmah with a new price of 2,000,000

- so bank rosmah said there is NO interest you just pay me the price of 2,000,000 for 30 years

=> Back Door Riba

Hosein is quite right, there is really no significant difference between deferred markup Islamic finance and interest based loans. The real issue is: as a borrower are you being exploited or not? Except for loan sharks and payroll lenders, people are not being exploited the same way poor debtors were exploited by unscrupulous moneylenders at the time of the prophet. Your decision should be based on whether the benefit you get is worth more to you than the interest you pay, and within your budget.

I have to agree. The problem with all this is for me is the concept. It has never been done by our prophet or sahabah. The concept for most of these banking transaction is to convert from borrowing and lending (which can let to riba because the amount paid will be higher than the amount borrowed) to becoming buying and selling (which led to no riba because you can sell to whatever amount that you like and it is not considered riba).

Like you try to play tricks. Doing something halal from a haram intention. Because when you go to a bank to buy a house, the intention was never about doing akad for buying and selling of your house, the intention is borrow in order to buy your house. It is all goes back to intention (NIAT).

RIBA is permissible in case of grave necessity. Survival with interest is better than avoiding interest in preference to death.

In other words, there is no such thing as islamic banking.
