I dug up something today i could barely move : metal detecting find !

Most signals end with a coin, button, or small relic. This one was different. While metal detecting an old abandoned New Hampshire farm with my Fisher F19, I was following the stone walls and exploring beyond the old cellar hole when I hit an enormous target. After a lot of digging, I finally worked it loose enough to flip it over. It was a massive cast iron object, nearly four feet long and weighing somewhere around 75 pounds. I could barely move it. The strange part wasn't just the size... it was trying to figure out what it had been used for. My first thought was that it may have been connected to logging, but honestly, I'm still not sure. Sometimes you uncover something that raises more questions than answers. Along the way I also recovered several great relics from the 1700s and 1800s, including an early pocket watch from the logging era. That's what makes exploring these forgotten New Hampshire homesites so enjoyable. You never know whether the next signal will be a beautiful relic... or something you've never seen before. Come along as we explore another abandoned farm, read the landscape, and see what surprises are still hiding beneath the forest floor. About Not Thursday Not Thursday is about exploring forgotten places, reading the landscape, and recovering relics that help tell the story of New England's old farms and homesites. Every outing is part adventure, part history, and sometimes... part mystery. #metaldetecting #relichunting #newhampshire #exploring #fisherf19 #cellarholes #oldfarms #notthursday #history Pay Pal tip jar https://www.youtube.com/redirect?even...
