  Something I’ve been noticing lately is that many people are using “wokeness” as a way to attack many POC creators, at the point, it’s a masked racial aggression. These people don’t want to held themselves accountable or want to take a step back and think about what they are accused the person.

  The fact that she keeps falling back on &quot;I&apos;m a woman so I&apos;m a victim&quot; is insultingly infantilizing to women, and just serves to reinforce patriarchal gender expectations. <br>This obsession with being the &apos;perfect victim&apos; is only getting in the way of actual positive change, and is only making it harder for actual victims to be taken seriously.<br>It&apos;s disgusting.

  My god Charm&apos;s mistakes are being blown so out of proportion.<br>It&apos;s completely a symptom of white women and femmes experiencing misogyny more in the US, but then directing that anger more at people they see as &quot;accessible&quot; due to feeling powerless to stop the worst perpetrators. Except their target is uniquely marginalized and that identity has a long history of being targeted by white women to reinforce racial hegemony.<br>So these women might feel like they are holding a man accountable for his actions, but they&apos;re really just using him as a punching bag for their beef with patriarchy.<br>And that&apos;s even before getting into how contentifying interpersonal conflict just incentivizes them to never stop posting about it.<br>What a mess.
