  Can confirm that vacation is way more fun when you can afford the vacation AND still have a 6mo emergency saved up. Takes a while to get there, but it&apos;s worth it.

  I&apos;m 64. Time shares have been a well known rip off since I was a kid. I&apos;m amazed the scam is still going.

  If timeshares were SO VALUABLE like the companies claim, they would allow you to walk away and return the &quot;share&quot; because then they could sell it on to another customer because its SUCH A GREAT VALUE. &nbsp;But instead they make them a NIGHTMARE to cancel because they are a scam with NEGATIVE VALUE.

  I worked in timeshare for 10 weeks. Proud to say I didn&apos;t sell a single package. Behind the scenes, &nbsp;it&apos;s disgusting. The salespeople openly joke about how stupid the buyers are and share tips on how to psychologically manipulate buyers. Awful. During my time in this world, an 80 year old lady purchased a $94,000 (yes!) package. Within 24 hours she wanted to rescind the deal. There is a short window for rescission and I saw the same people who told me in training &quot;we never lie. This is not a scam,&quot; REFUSE to answer this woman&apos;s calls after she said she wanted out. Timeshare is very very dirty.

  My husband and I got sucked into a timeshare presentation to get free tickets to a show. &nbsp;It started at an office on the Strip in Las Vegas, after a brief talk, we were ushered onto a bus to go to a place off strip to view what the &quot;resort&quot; we were buying will look like. &nbsp;It was a dump with duck shit everywhere. &nbsp;Sat down with a salesman and said we weren&apos;t interested, they said OK, then another slick salesman with a bigger, more expensive watch tried to pressure us, said no again, and yet another slick salesman with an even bigger, more expensive watch showed up to try to close a deal with us. &nbsp;We said no again and asked to be transported back to the strip. &nbsp;They said the shuttle bus will be here in about 45 minutes so why not sit and talk with us. &nbsp;I stood up and said Im calling 911 because you have kidnapped us and are refusing to return us back to the strip immediately. &nbsp;Walked out with my phone to my face and what do you know? the bus arrived within 5 minutes to take us back. &nbsp;Had to threaten them with law enforcement to leave their high pressure bullshit timeshare sale attempt, and the tickets we got were for a show that sucked lol

  The most insane thing is how it is automatically passed on to your children if you pass and they don&apos;t file in time. It&apos;s worse than receiving nothing.
