  My grandad was there at that time. My dad was born in 1940. Life looks so much simpler. I know health wasn't as good back then. But I'd love to be there

  It's wonderful to see all the people, and children during the Edwardian era. I am 76 years old now, and my grandmother who died in 1976 at the age of 85, would have loved to have seen this, it would have brought back memories. When I was 16 years old, I knew a man called Mr boast, he was a guard who stood at the corner of Queen Victoria's coffin, as the people walked past, to give the Queen her respects.

  When I see these kind of old film it makes you think how special life is,, as all these people are dead and gone a long time ago xx

  I guess it just proves that people live sad lives, always HAVE, and always WILL have. <br>&quot;Change&quot; is always happening. One lifespan goes by very quickly.

  What people don’t realise is that the film presents Britain at the peak of its economic and political global superpower.<br>In the space of one lifetime politicians managed to destroy everything and take the country into economic and social chaos.

  My 2nd great grandparents were weavers in Walton le Dale , their daughter Mary Anne ward &nbsp;went into service and ended up in Liverpool and married by 2nd great grandfather James Henry McGregor who was a shipping manager , his parents were Scottish, she ran a pub in Scotland road, my great grandmother was in service , a housemaid, my nan was also in service in maghull, I am proud of my ancestors ❤
