  i collect pocket knives, its a very small collection so far but last year for my birthday my grandma gifted me my grandpa's old pocket knives and it was genuinely the best gift I've ever gotten

  The line of collecting vs overconsumption is blurred in a lot of jfashion communities. Because a lot of dresses are made in super limited quantities, it really creates a scarcity mindset and leads to impulsively buying things the second they pop up on the secondhand market because you might never see it again. But it&apos;s so normalized in the community 😔
