  I was the first apprentice motorcycle mechanic in the Uk to strip down a brand new zero miles Mk 1 Honda CBX 1000 in silver, it was way back in 1980, which sprung a bad oil leak from the back of the barrels from the base gasket behind number 5 cyclinder, it had a fault that was due to the top engine crankcase, which turned out to be a bad casting, it had a porous area that was letting oil pass through from the main oil duct which runs at the back of the barrels, the oil was passing through and coming up the threads of the barrel stud and out through the base gasket, the fix from Honda power road at the time was to loctite the barrel stud back in place to seal off the oil, it worked a treat.

  Bringing the viewing to a new level. Great walk round Dave &amp; Phil. Lots of gorgeous lots to bid on. My favourites of the collection is that Kh250 triple, the Kawasaki Z650 and all the two stroke Yamaha’s and Suzuki’s. Love the Honda CB - - - 4 range of bikes too. They all hold a special place in my youth.

  I am an expat, now living in Canada, I bought a 79 GS 850, the only owner bought it new, first time out dropped it on the right side, parked it in the shed, 7 years later got the bike out, 3 kms down the road, dropped it on the left side, back in shed, 30 years later, got bike out, a few trips later put 2200kms on it, I now have it, less than 2500kms from new. Very original bike, with scratches on end tips of both pipes lol, and levers are bent, tank has a scab or two from scratches, but the red paint always fades horrible on the GSs from those years. Great channel, brilliant content.

  Ah the &quot; Black Bomber &quot; story . I remember drooling over one of those when they came out . Thought from the size, &nbsp;it must have been at least<br> a 650 . What a beast !<br>Happy days !
