  I watched this episode live. The power of those words, "I knew they killed him" really took my breath away. Even hearing it for a second time, knowing it was coming, was extremely emotional. This entire saga is so incredibly heartbreaking.

  That story is chilling. I am more certain than ever of Wendi's guilt and that she is the one who orchestrated this.  She may not have actively participated but she planted the seeds in the mind of her family knowing how far they would go, played the damsel in distress, and then walked herself back while she watched it unfold. She handed LE her family on a silver platter believing it would make her look less guilty and has 'fully cooperated' with the same end in mind. She wrote that Dan "used to tell me... he was the only one that knew the truth about what a bad person I was".  I believe that is true and he did. My ex-husband, who is also a narcissistic sociopath, told me when we were divorcing that 'when I look at your face, I can see what a horrible person you think I am'.  His mask slipped and he couldn't bear to see himself reflected back to him anymore.  I was crippled with fear for many years that he was going to kill me and still worry as our custody battle ,that he has inflicted, never seems to end (even though our kids are late teens and have expressed their wishes consistently for the past five years). Wendi's mask slipped and Dan knew who she really was and he was about to expose that to everyone.  That is the motive underneath all the other motives.  It truly gives me chills to hear that.
